Who I am

This website is run by Bastian Studio, Sebastian Przyimka, a web developer based in Glasgow. I’m responsible for (the “controller” of) any personal information you share with me. You can contact me at bastianstudioweb@gmail.com.

What information I collect

• Contact form details: your name, business, email, phone number and message.
• Project details: information you send me while we work together, such as text, photos and logins needed to build your website.
• Accounts information: details needed for quotes and invoices.

I don’t use tracking tools, and I don’t collect anything about you in the background.

Why I use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote, because you asked me to.
• To deliver the work we’ve agreed, because it’s needed for our contract.
• To keep accounts and records, because the law requires it.

I’ll never sell your information or send you marketing you didn’t ask for.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don’t go ahead are deleted after 12 months. Client and accounting records are kept for 6 years, as HMRC requires, then securely deleted.

Who I share it with

Only the trusted services I need to run my business, for example my email provider, website hosting, website form provider and accountant. They can only use your information to provide their service to me. Where any of them store data outside the UK, they do so with UK-approved safeguards.

How I keep your information safe

• This website and its forms use a secure, encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
• My accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
• My devices and software are kept up to date, and only I have access to your information.
• Important data is backed up regularly.

If something goes wrong

If there’s ever a data breach (for example a hacked account or lost device), I’ll act straight away to contain it. If your information is at risk, I’ll tell you without undue delay, and where required I’ll report it to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) within 72 hours.

Your rights

You can ask me to show you, correct, delete or stop using the information I hold about you, or to send it to you in a portable format. Just email me. It’s free, and I’ll reply within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk ↗ or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser. This website doesn’t use tracking or advertising cookies, which is why there’s no cookie banner.

If I add tools like visitor statistics or advertising tracking in future, I’ll update this page and ask for your permission before any of them are used.

I may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
